Topic: "Power quality and the '05 NEC"
Power quality and the '05 NEC - a review and discussion of objectionable currents, isolated grounding circuits and sensitive electronic equipment. We will also address nonlinear loads and conductors in parallel, transit voltage surge suppressors and surge arresters. Time will be allotted for questions and answers too.
Speaker Bio:
Lanny McMahill is the electrical inspections supervisor for the City of Phoenix. He is an IAEI international seminar instructor and past IAEI international president. Lanny is an IBEW member and former NJATC electrical code and theory class instructor. He is engaged in: IEC/USNC technical management committee, UL electrical council, NFPA electrical section, and ICC. Lanny is also the IAEI representative and principal member of NFPA 70 CMP-1.
