The use of 415/240V power distribution for data centers saves floor space, simplifies power cabling, saves capital cost, reduces weight, and increases electrical efficiency. This month’s presentation will describe various configurations for this distribution architecture and quantify the benefits for optimal configuration.
Speaker Bio:
Dennis Strieter is President of LDP Associates, Inc., A respected leader in the design of integrated data center environments. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, with projects throughout the Southwestern U.S., Dennis is a Schneider Electric Certified Data Center Design Professional, with over decade of experience in strategic planning and engineering of complex facilities. His recent work includes leading Schneider's critical role in the design and implementation of the Switch Communications high-density data center in Las Vegas, a 407,000 sq. ft. building supporting 7,000 racks and 84 megawatts of critical power. He is a sought-after speaker for IT events and Group Schneider training programs.
