Topic: "The Importance of Infrared Thermography and Predictive Maintenance"
This presentation will focus on the importance of on-line predictive and preventative maintenance, with an emphasis on visual inspections, infrared thermography, ultrasonic analysis, and voltage/wattage drop.
Speaker Bio:
Mike McMurrain is a journeyman wireman and thermographer with over 15 years experience in predictive and preventive maintenance. He has provided training and consulting to customers in Europe, Australia, Russia, and North America up to 400kV, with a primary focus on 600VAC (and under) energized testing and safety. Over the last 5 years he has developed proprietary data collection, analysis, and reporting software for field technicians in both the electrical and HVAC maintenance fields. He is currently teaching and consulting at ThermalStar Training Center, a division of American Infrared Consultants.
