Speaker: Lane Garrett, New Solar Ventures, Inc.
Topic: "Renewable Energy"
This presentation will be on Renewable Energy Sources. Lane is currently working with New Solar Ventures as the Solar Power Generation Scientist to assist in implementation of Utility High Voltage Energy System and in the production of high carbon and hydrogen products. Mr. Garrett's initial assignment is final design of the "Mega Inverter" for first use in Deming, New Mexico 345,000 volt transmission line Utility High Voltage Energy System.
Speaker Bio:
Mr. Garrett has a BSEE from Drexel, MSE from ASU. Present or past member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and The National Association of Corrosion Engineers. Past President of The Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association (ARISEIA). Past Chairman of ASEA (Arizona Solar Energy Association)
Board member of The IEEE Phoenix Consultants' Group, Arizona Solar Industries Association and the Council on Sustainable Systems Development. Member of American Hydrogen Association, Motorola Technical Society and the Former department head of Natural Sciences at College Del Ray in West Phoenix . He was also a Former instructor at Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe, Nevada in Renewables and at the University of Phoenix in MBA and MBA (Technology Management) programs.
