Speaker Bio:
Since earning her BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, Lynda Canfield has designed construction projects and prepared submittal reviews, designed change orders, and recorded as-built drawings for private and municipal projects. Her expertise is concentrated on power and controls for water, wastewater, and water reclamation projects. Recently, Ms. Canfield has facilitated, co-authored and presented workshops with City of Phoenix personnel for establishing electrical standards to include: specifications, drawings standards, short circuit coordination, arc flash analysis, and load and panel schedules for use by consultants on all of the City's projects.
Respected by her peers for her professionalism and knowledge, Ms. Canfield is a registered Engineer-in-Training, No. 09588. She contributes not only her electrical engineering knowledge and expertise to every project, but is an excellent communicator and problem solver, having earned a Masters degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and practiced child and family psychology for nine years in Madison, Wisconsin.
