Topic: Designing Facilities for Reliability and Power Quality
Michael will cover the principles behind designing with power quality and reliability in mind while providing examples of designs he has been involved in.
Speaker Bio:
J. Michael Pearson is a Senior Electrical Engineer with the DLR Group.
He is a registered professional engineer, and Mike has over 36 years
of experience in the engineering, contracting
and business fields. As the operations manager for a large electrical
construction company, he was responsible for all aspects of production
and quality. His technical credentials include design, construction,
forensic investigation and invention. He has been an entrepreneur,
founding his own company and, in the process, earning a patent in the
field of power electronics. Mike is also a veteran project manager with
substantial experience in the diagnosis of power quality problems.
