Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solutions are immensely valuable when it comes to operating a data center. With the right system in place you can see major cuts in operating expenses and improvements in the entire data center planning process. While a DCIM system is very valuable, there are some pitfalls you need to be aware of as you move to implement your own system. Based on experience from several installations, learn about these 3 major pitfalls so that you can be prepared to take full advantage of the benefits that can come from a data center infrastructure management system.

Tony has over 15 years experience in the IT industry from operations, integrator, installation, to consultant. This presentation is based on presentations given to C level executives and IT and facility managers/personnel. DCIM projects include with TEP, Yavapai County, and Yuma Regional Medical Center.
