This presentation will:
• Identify the role of busway in a distribution system
• Identify the major components of busway systems and describe their functions
• Identify feeder and plug-in busway and explain the use of each
• Identify various ratings of busway
• Measure and layout a basic busway systems
• Identify various organizations involved with busway design standards
• Describe selected sections of the National Electrical Code (NEC) as it applies to busway
Speaker Bio:
Jim Taylor, Sales Engineer focused on Data Center solutions including large, 3-phase implementations. Jim’s storied background is in technical field service which gives him a detailed understanding of the inner-workings of the electrical systems required in the data center environment. Notable projects include, I/O Capital, Digital Realty Trust, and State Farm Insurance.
