Topic: "Proper Torquing for Power Quality"

This presentation will be focused on electrical connections as they relate to electrical installation requirements for the delivery of good power quality, with specific emphasis placed on properly torquing connections to electrical distribution equipment and proper selection of wire connectors. We will review the significance of marking requirements and installation instructions for this component of an electrical installation. The program provides visual examples of proper connections and applications, along with a brief explanation of connector theory. A torque test assembly developed by ALCAN will be used for attendees to test their ability to make good connections.
