So You Want to Buy a Power Monitor (or Things the Power Monitor Salesman Won’t Tell You or Doesn’t Know):

This presentation is a brief overview of the more popular portable power monitors, their capabilities and short comings.

The purpose of the talk is to make you an informed consumer and better equipped to select the power monitoring instrument that best meets your application and needs.

Speaker Bio:
Bruce Lonie is President and a co-founder (1986) of PowerCET Corporation. Previously, he was vice president of ONEAC Corporation and product support manager for the Telecommunications Division of ROLM Corporation. His experience with GTE included operations, customer support, and engineering management positions. A recognized expert in the evaluation of power and grounding problems for the data and telecommunications industries, Bruce has written two books and regularly publishes articles on power quality and the electromagnetic environment. He is a graduate of the University of Redlands, a member of IEEE, and has over 30 years experience in computer and telecommunications service, and equipment protection.
