Speaker Bio:
Mr. Ferraro provides PQSI product application services and field support for electric power quality compatibility issues related to voltage sag protection and EMI/RFI interference mitigation. He is internationally recognized as surfacing the need for electric distribution power quality interconnection characterization activities in the U.S. during the early 1980s.

With the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) from 1977 through 1990, Mr. Ferraro was noted for successfully promoting collaborative projects to define grid compatibility and equipment operability costs/benefits for fuel cells, PV, micro-turbines, wind systems, energy storage devices, and adjustable-speed drives.

From, 1970 through 1973, Mr. Ferraro was chief control systems engineer at General Dynamics Corporation's New Jersey division. Between 1973 and 1977, Mr. Ferraro was a utility power plant project manager with Bechtel Power Corporation in Texas.
